MARSEN JULES & ROGER DOERING - SILENT MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS
Marsen Jules and the clarinetist/ saxophonist Roger Döring compose Soundtracks for known and unknown scary classics of the silent movie era. The ‚Sound poet‘ Martin Juhls is already rewarded with the ‚Qwartz Electronic Music Award‘. His new album ‚Beautfear‘ ,which was released in 2014, was nominated for the hitlist of the ‚Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik‘ and was at the Top-Ten of the German Chill Out Charts besides artists like Trentemöller und Bonobo for five moths. Roger Döring from Berlin is part of the Electronic-Duo ‚Dictaphone‘ as a saxophonist and clarinetist. In addition to that he played with Rudolph Moser in front of incaving reconstructions for many years. He also produced music for theater and dance and played soundtracks for cine films like ‚Alaska.de‘ by Esther Groneborn and ‚Väter‘ by Dany Levy.
